Blue Moves is a concept compilation for seductive moments and erotic moods. Its purpose is using great music to produce a seductive mood.
The compilation was partly inspired by a discussion in the usegroup "rec.music.bluenote" under the name "Jazz to make love to". Guido Altmann, Alex Merck and some girl friends, friends and occasional lovers tested the album in spring of 1996 - and it works well both as a coversation piece to guide a conversation as well as musical background to relax the athmosphere. (at least in our opinion.)

The cover photo was taken by Detlev Moritz - one of Germany's best photographers and video-cameramen. He has also worked for most german TV stations and done some great work about Ethiopia (where the girl is from) as well as about the oil fires in Kuwait, where he filmed shortly after the war.
The album got some great reviews from all kinds of magazines (including so-called men's magazines with a strongly intended erotic touch - Penthouse and Playboy).
