Jim McNeely - East Coast Blowout

One of the top jazz pianists and keyboardists in Manhattan, Jim McNeely is also a very interesting composer and arranger. In 1991 he was commissioned by german radio station WDR to write a jazz-suite for the radio-bigband and some very special guests: The bigband included: and Paul Shigihara (rhythm guitars), Rainer Brueninghaus (keyboards).

The album was released 1991 in Europe, but could only be officially released in the USA in the fall of 1994. It became very popular one many jazz radio stations in Canada, Germany and the USA.
