Hungarian saophonist Tony Lakatos is extremely popular as a sideman for jazz, big-band and even pop musicians all over Europe. His steady cooperation with drummer Al Foster (who was alongterm collaborator of Miles Davis a.o.) has been going on for several years - and has now led to a new album, which brings 3 generations of musicians together in their appreciation of real acoustic jazz under the name "Generation X". Based on hardbop, the group also integrates many eastern european influences in their playing. The musicians are:
