Like One
(LIP 89017 , USA: LIP 8917)
Like One is the first album Leni Stern recorded with a constant group, which was her band for a tour of Europe in 1993, except for Russel Ferrante ("Yellowjackets"-keyboarder) and violinist Didier Lockwood, who joined the band in the studio after the tour. Another guest during some of the recording and mixing sessions was Mike Stern - but he did not play on the album, even though he contributed one of the songs. The musicians were:
- Leni Stern - guitars
- Bob Malach - tenor sax
- Russel Ferrante - keyboards
- Alain Caron - bass
- Dennis Chambers - drums
- Didier Lockwood - violin on tracks 5,7 and 10
The album was recorded and mixed by Klaus Genuit, who did a lot of the recordings of "Acoustic Alchemy" and is the main recording engineer for most Lipstick albums.
